
Aram Aghazarian is a specialist in issues management, message strategy development and delivery. He provides leadership communication, presentations, public speaking and Q&A counsel to leaders in one-on-one and group settings. His experience includes advising communicators in such diverse fields as pharmaceuticals, financial services, food production, data processing, chemicals, public utilities, healthcare and international banking. Aghazarian’s expertise in persuasion and message analysis is applied to a variety of communication challenges, e.g. financial analyst meetings, initial public offerings, spin-offs, product launches, motivational and sales presentations, litigation support, crisis situations and regulatory hearings. Aghazarian is an emeritus professor at Temple University where he chaired three departments in the School of Communication and Theater, including the Department of Strategic and Organizational Communication. He has taught courses in public speaking, persuasion, business and professional communication, interpersonal communication, speech criticism and political communication. Aghazarian’s book Form, Genre and the Study of Political Discourse (with H.W. Simons) is quoted widely. He has been interviewed by the media during presidential debates and in addition to advising business leaders, has provided message and delivery counsel for political candidates. He has served on the Editorial Boards of Communication Quarterly and Communication Education, and has been a reviewer for Critical Studies in Mass Communication. He holds a Ph.D. in from the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois-Champaign.
