
Lauren Cotter Brobson brings to the Martel team nearly 20 years of experience as a presentations and media strategist for leaders in the private and public sectors. Clients seek out her expertise on media relations, speeches and presentation, and her skills as a professional writer. Lauren is adept at translating complex issues into well-defined, grassroots and consumer-oriented messages. She authored monthly columns for B2B Magazine and has written articles for Tech Talk and Project Oscar magazines and other trade publications. She has also written and produced multi-media and video presentations on workforce development and corporate site selection for regional economic development organizations, as well as criminal justice issues. Lauren served as a senior level communications strategist and chief speechwriter for former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge, and Director of Communications for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. She has written hundreds of speeches on a wide range of issues, including substantive policy addresses, media statements, ceremonial and political remarks. Her portfolio also includes opinion-editorials, video presentations, magazine articles, news releases, broadcast advertising and collateral materials. Working with businesses and economic development issues were Lauren's main focus at Pennsylvania's Department of Economic and Community Development (DCED). There she created a communication strategy to advance the commonwealth's national and international reputation in economic development, community renewal and tourism.
